Uganda is considered the historical birthplace of robusta coffee.Robusta from this country is the most tasty one , even the London Commodity Exchange uses Ugandan robusta as a standard quality of coffee of this variety. Most coffee experts consider Robusta Uganda to be among the rare vintage single origin plantations.
The advantages of this type of coffee are fairly high extractability and strength. The taste is bright chocolaty, without extraneous shades and flavors. The aroma is rather weak, unobtrusive. An excellent ingredient in espresso blends with Arabica. When brewed as a part of blends, it provides strength and invigorates, provides a tonic effect, a slight bitterness and persistent foam.
