Field coffee in the Armed Forces: a tradition that keeps us in line
War changes everything. But even in the most difficult conditions of the front, among the trenches, explosions and cold, something deeply human remains - the ritual of coffee. Field coffee in the Armed Forces has become more than just a drink - it is a part of psychological stability, a symbol of ordinary life, an opportunity to feel at home for a minute.
On the front line, coffee is prepared in the most incredible conditions - in cans, kettles, on fires or gas burners. Often it is instant coffee, sometimes - grain, if there is a possibility to grind it. And always - with gratitude to those who passed on this fragrant "support package" from peaceful life. As practice shows, in extreme conditions, fighters increasingly prefer coffee in drip bags or pyramids - it is convenient to brew it simply in a cup, without unnecessary effort and additional means. This is a real compromise between quality and practicality, which is perfect for the front line.
Coffee for the military - warmth and comfort in the cold of war
In many units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, morning coffee has become a ritual. And although it may seem like a trifle - a cup of coffee before a combat mission or after a night shift - in fact, it is a powerful morale factor.
Psychologists have repeatedly noted that habitual actions associated with peaceful life help reduce anxiety levels, stabilize emotional state and even strengthen team cohesion.
Coffee is not just caffeine. It is an act of care, humanity, the feeling of "I am not alone". In field conditions, it turns into a symbol of stability, personal space and hope.
A corner - a place where coffee and sincerity are alive

Among soldiers, the word "corner" is often used - a small, more or less protected place where you can rest. And it is here, in these improvised shelters, that front-line coffee is born. It is brewed in turn, served to a comrade, and becomes an occasion for a few minutes of conversation, exchange of news, or just silence next to each other.
Such moments are extremely important. According to a study conducted by the Ukrainian Military Sociological Group in 2023, 93% of servicemen believe that "small habits from civilian life" help them cope in stressful situations. And the most common among them is coffee.
Trevi is about a business that knows what responsibility is
As a Ukrainian coffee producer, we at Trevi have been taking an active civic position since the beginning of the war. In difficult times, we have become a reliable support for those who defend our country.
Our company systematically supports the defenders - both with its products and other means that are especially important on the front line. The Trevi team includes those who are currently serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and this further strengthens the brand's connection with the reality of war.
Trevi doesn't just produce coffee - we help to hold on. And for many soldiers, a cup of aromatic drink has become a reminder that they are remembered, cared for, and waited for.
Coffee is a small front of a big war
There are no trifles on the front line. Everything has weight - even a sip of hot coffee. As long as you can brew coffee in the trench - the connection with home is not lost. We remember what home is, warmth and hope.
Coffee is not just a drink. It is a small holiday in the midst of a storm. And each of us can convey a particle of care to where it is needed most.
